Ultra-Fine Incline Bar Screen. Front rake screen. Mechanical front rake screen. S.A.M.E Water

The Incline Bar Coarse Screen (IBCS) is used for “coarse screening” where the removal of waste material between 15 and 100 mm in size is required in water and wastewater treatment. The screenings are collected against a taper bar screen field and the waste is removed by means of a multiple rake system. The rakes pass over the screen field and in doing so remove the entrapped screenings waste which lodges against the taper bars. The screenings waste is then transported by engineered rake system which is attached to a chain located at either end. The screenings waste moves up the debris plate and is discharged at the top of the screen. The scraper system directs the screenings waste down the discharge chute for further processing.

The Incline Bar Screen (IBFS) is used for “fine screening” where the removal of waste material between 5 and 12 mm in size is required. The screenings are collected against a taper bar screen field and the waste is removed by means of a multiple rake system. The rakes pass over the screen field and in doing so remove the entrapped screenings waste which is caught between the taper bar screen field. The screenings waste is then carried by the dual chain driven rake system up the debris plate and is discharged at the top of the screen via the scraper system, and down the discharge chute for further processing.

The Ultra-Fine Incline Bar Screen is used for “ultra-fine screening” where the removal of waste material from 0.5 up to 4 mm in size is required. The screenings are collected against a wedge wire screen field and the waste is removed by means of a multiple brush or a rubber insertion rake system. The rakes pass over the wedge wire screen field and in doing so removes the entrapped screenings waste. The screenings waste is then carried by the dual chain driven rake system up the debris plate and discharged at the top of the screen via the scraper system, and is expelled down the discharge chute for further processing.

Hand rake screen for wastewater treatment plants. Coarse manual hand screen. Emergency by-pass screening.

The hand raked bar screen is manually operated and used within small wastewater treatment plants or to protect fine mechanical screens. The coarse manual hand screen generally has a bar spacing of 20 to 100 mm. In addition, such screens are commonly used in a head of works as an emergency by-pass screen, located next to a mechanical screen, should there be power outage or if the mechanical screen is down for maintenance. This robust screen can be manufactured from either mild steel galvanized or in 304L & 316L stainless steel.

Rotary drum screen. Waste water drum rotary drum screen. Rotating drum screen built for heavy pretreatment applications

Rotating Drum Screen can be used in most waste water, industrial processes, and food industries for filtration systems that require the removal of fine solid material ranging from 0.25 mm to 3 mm in diameter. The waste water to be treated flows through the inlet pipe to the feed basin, which ensures that the waste water flows equally over the entire surface of the rotating filtering drum. The waste particles in the waste water get caught up by the slow rotating Filtering drum, which rotates the waste towards the scraper blade, which is then discharged at the chute system for further processing. The filtered waste water flows through the spacing of the filtering drum into the collection basin and through the outlet pipe. In the case of power outages or equipment repair the feed basin has an emergency overflow system which will direct the flow into the outlet pipeline. In the internal center of the filtering drum there is a spray system which assists in the internal cleaning of the filtering drum.
