TRANSIENT & FLYWHEEL CALCULATIONS

Note:

1) First select check valve and reverse velocity, then select the corresponding deceleration from table below as input parameters.

2) Type in the required input parameters, including the maximum allowable flywheel diameter.

3) Once everything is typed in, the output flywheel width can be viewed and the diameter can be adjusted accordingly. Changing the diameter will change the width so the mass moment of inertia will remain constant according to the system parameters.
