The Model 5012 LP Versi-Dredge® is ideal for dredging in canals, lakes, and marinas where maneuverability in confined areas is an issue. Like all Versi-Dredge® systems the Starwheel Drive system allows the dredge to be completely self-propelled.

The 5012 LP can be converted into a weed harvesting machine by simply switching out the standard cutterhead with the Weedmaster® Cutterhead.

The LP (Low Pressure) pump on the 5012 LP is a fabricated steel pump with a rubber liner. It can be used in a variety of materials including abrasive sand. The unique LP pump design allows the 5012 LP to pass up to a 6” solid making it ideal for debris filled waterways.

The LP pump is known around the globe for being extremely versatile, easy to maintain / rebuild in the field, and hard to break.

The 5012 LP can be shipped on a 40’ flat rack making international freight very affordable.

The Model 5012 HP Versi-Dredge® is ideal for dredging in canals, lakes, marinas, rivers, and sand mines. Like all Versi-Dredge® systems the Starwheel Drive system allows the dredge to be completely self-propelled.

The HP (High Pressure) pump on the 5012 HP is a GIW 8” x 10” cast iron, hi-chrome sand pump that can pump sand to a maximum distance of between 3,500’-4,000’ depending on specific gravity of the material.

The 5012 HP can be used in conjunction with a GPS system to restore a lake or reservoir or it can be used in a dedicated sand mining application.

The HP pump is known for its longevity in abrasive materials and its ability to pump heavier materials over long distances.

The Model 7012 HP Versi-Dredge® is ideal for rivers, lakes, beach projects, port projects, and production sand mining. Like all Versi-Dredge® systems the Starwheel Drive system allows the dredge to be completely self-propelled.

The 7012 HP is the “flag ship” of the IMS product line. The 425 horse power unit utilizes its 10” x 12” GIW pump directly behind the ultra aggressive Excavator Cutterhead equipped with replaceable, hardened sharks teeth and excavator teeth.

The ladder mounted submerged pump achieves a higher percentage of solids than hull mounted pumps which results in greater output. The HP (High Pressure) pump on the 7012 HP is a GIW 10” x 12” cast iron, hi-chrome sand pump that can pump sand to a maximum distance of between 4,000’-4,500’ depending on specific gravity of the material.

The 7012 HP is the only one truck transportable self-propelled dredge in the world that can dig down to a standard depth of 30’ without having to be disassembled for road transport. The 7012 HP can dig deeper and pump a higher percentage of solids than any of other dredge in its class.

IMS’s policy to stock the 7012 HP allows its customers to take advantage of quick delivery times and lower prices than IMS’s competition since multiple units are built at once allowing IMS to negotiate better prices with its suppliers.


7012 HP JetMaster™

JetMaster Mode 1:

Jet Excavation
When the operator encounters more
compact sands or a clay lense, the 100
HP (patent pending) JetMaster system can
be turned ON and force 500+ gallons per
minute of water through 26 jet nozzles,
positioned on the top and sides of the
SolidsMaster Cutterhead shroud, that
produce 250 psi each. The high pressure
jets help slurry compacted materials and
increase production volume.

JetMaster Mode 2:

Water Injection Dredging
When the operator needs to send silt back
to the natural current they can turn off the
slurry pump and turn ON the bottom jet
nozzles to put the material into suspension
where it can then be carried away in the
natural current also known as “water
injection dredging.”

JetMaster Mode 3:

Environmental Dredging
Standard dredging operation with the
(patent pending) JetMaster switched OFF
allows the operator to remove loose and
moderately compacted materials with
the environmental shrouded SolidsMaster
Cutterhead that is ideal for low turbidity
dredging applications.


Depth Master™ Dredger

The Depth Master™ is IMS’s solution to making deep maintenance dredging, sedimentary sand mining and environmental dredging affordable.

No longer will ports need to hire large commercial dredging outfits to do expensive deep maintenance dredging. Now they can invest in their own maintenance dredging system that will allow them to maintain a maximum depth of 60 ft (18.0m) at their port.

The Depth Master™ system ships in two pieces on drop deck trailers greatly reducing mobilization and demobilization costs associated with larger dredges that are impractical to move over roads.

It is easily installed in the field with quick connections for the hull, ladder, hydraulics, and electronics. The Depth Master can dredge silt, mud, and other light sedimentary materials using the dual marine prop drive system.

When dredging in heavier currents and removing sand at deeper depths it is recommended to run the dredge on the included cable drive system which can run off of two or four point anchor systems. The cable drive system can be rigged in several configurations using a combination of the following anchor point types: pilings, spud anchor barges, and land based anchor plates.

The DM-60™ is IMS’s solution to making deep maintenance dredging and environmental dredging affordable.

No longer will ports need to hire large commercial dredging outfits to do expensive deep maintenance dredging. Now they can invest in their own maintenance dredging system that will allow them to maintain a maximum depth of 55 ft (16.7m) at their port.

In addition to maintenance dredging with a hydraulic pump and pipeline, water injection jets can be attached to the cutter shroud and convert the dredge into a water injection system that will put the sediments into suspension so bottom currents can push them out to sea. This is a common form of maintenance performed at many ports around the world.
